FAQ
What does Wine By Transit cover?
A curated set of Seattle metro tasting rooms you can actually reach by bus, rail, or ferry — Woodinville plus urban Seattle rooms. It is not every winery in Washington.
How do transit directions work?
We hand you to Google Maps with transit selected. On iPhone you can open the same trip in Apple Maps. Either app plans one trip (A→B) to the first stop on your visit list, using your current location unless you change it there. Multi-stop transit itineraries are not something we can offer yet.
Is my visit list saved to an account?
No. The list lives on your device. There is no login, and we cannot recover a list from another phone or after an uninstall.
Do I need the app?
No. The same guide is on winebytransit.com. The iOS and Android apps add a home-screen copy with the same catalog.
Are you affiliated with the tasting rooms or transit agencies?
No. Listings are independent. Hours, pour fees, and service can change — confirm with the tasting room and with Metro, Sound Transit, or whichever agency runs the line.
